The Service Party, TSP leader Mwangi Kiunjuri has now set conditions that determine the presidential aspirant to be supported by TSP.

Speaking during a breakfast show in a vernacular FM station on Tuesday, Kiunjuri says the memorandum drafted by TSP will be presented to presidential candidates, which will also form basis for discussion intended to bring together all Mt. Kenya leaders.

‘’That for us to support any presidential candidate, they must commit to supporting this agenda and the irreducible minimum in broad daylight/public’’ Said Kiunjuri

Top on Kiunjuri conditions is equality of the vote, where he says it must be achieved even if it means amending the constitution or existing statutes

‘’…this is a basic right in our constitution that needs to be assured and given effect. Inequality of the vote is a historical injustice that must be corrected without further delay.’’ Said Kiunjuri

Kiunjuri further demands that any presidential hopeful should state a formula that will address existing inequalities without oppressing other Kenyans.

TSP parliamentary and gubernatorial aspirants held a two days consultative meeting in Embu, where they drafted a raft of conditions for Mt. Kenya suitors.

‘’ On matters relating to the 2022 General election, we have agreed that TSP will field candidates across the country and will soon call for applications from interested and serious aspirants for the various elective positions. This meeting has also affirmed the National Governing Council’s decision that at the presidential level TSP will engage like-minded parties to establish pre or post-election coalitions.’’ Said Kiunjuri

The TSP leader says his mission is to see a united country, where every right is respected.
