The Service Party (TSP)  leader Hon. Mwangi Kiunjuri has urged the Deputy President William Ruto to embrace other parties and individuals of interest, if he intends to win the Mt. Kenya block in the next general elections.

Speaking during a Sunday Service at ACK St. Andrews in Nanyuki, Kiunjuri warned that it is too early to assume that one has won the vote rich region, adding that the best strategy was gather rather than scuttle leaders and political parties from the region.

‘’ It is too early to say that they have scaled the Mountain. The Mountain is so tall, covered with slippery ice and a tough terrain. The weather can be very rough too. It is therefore, advisable to keep wooing the people rather than proceeding as if the deal is sealed.’’ Kiunjuri said

Kiunjuri further said that TSP remains open to coalition building should need be and is ready to play a role with his team to enable the region consolidate the power it needs in demanding its fair share.

TSP leader was reacting to a statement issued by UDA team who reportedly said that the Mountain will negotiate on the framework of UDA and not any other formations.

‘’Wewe unatafuta yako, na mwingine yake. Yeye anajua tu atasaidiwa na watu, ndio maana anatafuta wazee wa Kimeru na wengine kwa sababu anataka ushirika na Wakenya wote mahali popote waliko.
